Welcome to Newburgh Primary School. We are an inclusive, nurturing school that empowers our children to become lifelong learners, with our school values of, Nurture, Perform, Succeed at the heart of everything we do.
As headteacher, I strongly believe that our children deserve the very best opportunities in life and in education. Our mission is to empower every child with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals who can positively impact their community. As a forward-thinking school, we are constantly evolving all aspects of educating and preparing our children for their next steps in life.
Our extensive site offers a wealth of opportunities to nurture our children’s love and responsibility for the outdoors, while learning about environmental sustainability through our Forest school and our outdoor learning facilities. We encourage our children to develop their resilience and perseverance, to collaborate and learn the value of teamwork through their passion for sport. Our staff provide a broad and balanced curriculum that celebrates the power of the “arts” to transform and enlighten our children, whilst developing the creativity to express themselves.
We are committed to providing an inclusive education that enables all our children to thrive and succeed. We create an environment where every child feels welcome, valuing diversity and treating all with kindness, empathy and courtesy.
We are a school at the heart of the community with close links with our families and local area that we seek to serve. We instil in our pupils a sense of social responsibility, empowering them to want to make a positive impact on the world.
